Last week, members of the Division of Immunology celebrated the beginning of a new academic year at a brewery and restaurant in nearby North Liberty. Colleagues, friends, and family helped themselves to a buffet, a wide array of drinks options, and some “duckpin bowling” while also catching up with each other on their summer activities.
Division Director Benjamin Davis, MD, PhD, spoke briefly to thank everyone for coming and to welcome the division’s newest members, both faculty and first-year fellows in the Allergy/Immunology, Rheumatology, and dual-track programs. Davis also made sure to thank the administrative staff of the division who not only made that evening possible but keeps things running on track behind the scenes.
