Chauhan Joins NIH Center for Scientific Review

Dr. Anil Chauhan has accepted an invitation to join the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Study Section of the NIH’s Center for Scientific Review. During his six-year term, Dr. Chauhan will review and make recommendations on grant applications submitted to the NIH, as well as continuously survey the status of research in this scientific field.

The Director of the Center, Dr. Richard Nakamura, cited Dr. Chauhan’s demonstrated competence and achievement, the quality of his research accomplishments and publications, as well as his “mature judgment and objectivity.” Congratulations to Dr. Chauhan and best wishes as he assumes this important responsibility shaping the future of national biomedical research.
