Members of the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and the Gastrointestinal Surgery Clinic want to spread the word that March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. March 3 was “Dress in Blue Day,” which inspired this photograph, but there will be a strong push all month to increase awareness.

In collaboration with the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable, the Iowa Cancer Consortium has joined the Eighty by 2018 movement, hoping to have 80% of the eligible population screened by 2018.
