You Make a Difference in Internal Medicine, May Edition

The University of Iowa Health Care Making a Difference program is designed to recognize individuals who have performed in an exemplary manner, consistent with the goals of service excellence, and with a commitment to quality care.

In the month of May, these members of our department listed below were nominated by colleagues, patients, and their family members for a variety of actions that have had a major impact. Recognizing others is fast and easy with the Making a Difference Nomination form.

Tricia goes above and beyond for our patient population and our program every day. She works hard to advocate for our patients and make a difference in their lives. The HIV/ Ryan White Program would not be the same without her.

The CVICU team of Robert Downard, Michael DeMoss, Tegan Kraklio, Annie Roberts, Andrea Toale, Laramie Wall, Kaleb Frazier, Hailey Waechter, Jannet Eastman, Molly Cullinan, Brian Nabor, Brent Miller, Dr. Brodie Marthaler, Dr. Hong Zhao demonstrated exceptional teamwork and compassion for the patient and family during the code and passing of a patient newly admitted to the CVICU. Thank you to each of you for your knowledge and skill but also for supporting one another through this experience.
