“These fellows are making us look good”

Late last month, a number of fellows in the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program presented their work at the European Cardiac Arrhythmia Society meeting in Paris. Of the 77 papers accepted from the United States, nine of them came from the University of Iowa.

In sending the list of accepted abstracts, Dr. Michael Giudici, Clinical Professor in Cardiovascular Medicine, pointed out (in addition to providing the quote in the title of this post) that the names on these abstracts represent work not only done by the fellows, but hospitalists, residents, and faculty as well.

Congratulations to all involved in making the University of Iowa “look good” on the international stage!
