Solimeo Named GSA Fellow

Samantha Solimeo, PhD, MPH, has been awarded Fellow status in the Behavioral and Social Sciences section of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). Dr. Solimeo was unanimously approved to join the GSA as a Fellow based on her achievements in the field. One of her most recent activities has been the study of potential telehealth options for osteoporosis care to elderly veterans.

The GSA is the world’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging. As a Fellow, Dr. Solimeo will participate in manuscript review for the society journal, committee work, and mentorship activities. She will be formally inducted into the GSA at a society meeting this November in Boston.
