One Day for Iowa is a 24-hour online giving day during which donors can give directly to highlighted funds around the University of Iowa. Participants may also play along with social media challenges to earn additional funds for their area of choice.
This year, the Department of Internal Medicine has three highlighted funds: the Residency Rotation Fund, the LGBTQ Clinic Support Fund, and the Pulmonary Disease Research and Development Fund. Check out videos about each of these funds at the end of this post!
Please help us earn gifts for these funds in the following ways:
- Share our social media posts on Twitter and Facebook or make your own and tag @IntMedatIowa (Twitter) or @IowaMedicine (Facebook)
- Take our posts from Twitter and Facebook and share them on your own social media pages now through midnight on Wednesday, March 30
- Participate in social media challenges
- Use the hashtag #1DayForIowa in every post you share about the day
