Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Graduation, 2026
The below is a guest post from Supportive and Palliative Care Fellowship Program Coordinator Jennifer Schneider.
We are pleased to celebrate the graduation of our Supportive and Palliative Care Fellows, Kaustav Mukherjee, MD, and Manasawee Tanariyakul, MD. Their graduation celebration was held June 13, 2026, at the Courtyard by Marriott in University Heights and brought together family, friends, faculty, and colleagues to honor their accomplishments.
The evening began with a cocktail hour, followed by a wonderful dinner and dessert, providing an opportunity for meaningful conversation and reflection. We were especially honored to welcome Kaustav’s parents and Manasawee’s family, who traveled from Thailand to share in this special occasion.
Program Director John Wilde, DO, highlighted the many accomplishments of both fellows before presenting them with their graduation certificates. Kaustav and Manasawee also shared heartfelt reflections on their fellowship experiences and expressed gratitude for the support of the entire interdepartmental team.
We extend our sincere thanks to the interdepartmental team whose collaboration, mentorship, and dedication contributed so greatly to the fellows’ training and success. The collective support of faculty, staff, clinicians, and partners across disciplines has been instrumental in shaping their fellowship experience.
As they begin their next chapters, we congratulate Kaustav, who will join Geisinger in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, as a Family Medicine physician, and Manasawee, who will remain at UI Health Care as a Hematology/Oncology Fellow for the next three years.
Please join us in congratulating both fellows and wishing them continued success in their careers!
