Members of the Division of Immunology took part in the 2017 Jingle Bell Run in Davenport last weekend. Sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation, this yearly and long-standing event is a fun—though chilly!—way to raise money for arthritis research. Bettendorf rheumatologist and Visiting Clinical Professor Dr. David Staub was the medical honoree for the event.

The team from the University of Iowa consisted of (from L to R) Deb Vogelgesang, Division Director Dr. Scott Vogelgesang, Some Guy in a Red Suit, Aaron Knack, Courtney Kremer, Dr. Staub, and Patty Bruffey Thoene. Courtney Kremer took second place in the run and the rest of Team Iowa finished the 5K walk. Nice work, team!
