Since it first began about a year ago, the Department of Internal Medicine’s Research Seminar Series has hosted a variety of presentations from a broad spectrum of investigators. Pulmonologists, health services researchers, cardiologists, basic scientists, endocrinologists, and oncologists all presented an overview of a recent discovery or the current state of their research to a diverse audience.
For 2018, another cross-section of subspecialty and method will be presented, and the format will remain the same. Two researchers will each take 20 minutes to present their work and leave 10 minutes for questions and feedback from attendees. What has changed is the day, time, and location. Beginning in March, the Research Seminar Series will be held on the second or third Tuesday of every month from 1 to 2 pm in the ICTS Conference Room (C44A GH).
As each date approaches, we’ll announce the titles of the presentations. We hope to see you there!
