David Stoltz, MD, PhD, professor of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Occupational Medicine, was elected as a General Assembly Member to the American Society for Clinical Investigations (ASCI) Physician-Scientist Development Committee.
During their monthly committee meetings, the Physician-Scientist Development Committee monitors, creates, and supports programming for early-career physician-scientists.
“As co-director of both the Carver College of Medicine’s Physician-Scientist Training Pathway and the NIH-funded R38 StARR program, I am very committed to mentoring and supporting the next generation of physician-scientists,” Stoltz said. “I am really excited about this opportunity to extend my efforts as part of the ASCI.”
