We are pleased to present the next in our weekly series introducing you to Internal Medicine’s Advanced Practice Providers. In addition to sharing information about where they work in the department, we asked them each to tell us a little bit about their “Why” (the sustaining pull for their work) and what relaxes them. (Read previous weeks’ installments).
Kevin McGrane MSN, ARNP, FNP

My “WHY”: Being able to make a positive impact on patient health and quality of life, especially in cardiology where ever evolving research and innovation offer new ways to benefit patient well-being. Having a great group of colleagues by my side is always beneficial as well.
What relaxes me: Exercising is my main tool for stress relief/relaxation. I enjoy golfing, hunting, fishing, bike riding, hiking with my family.
