It might seem strange to some to see turkey jalapeño sliders and veggie trays on the same table as samosas and ras malai next to sugar cookies in the shape of Christmas trees, but to the members of the Division of Immunology, it was another opportunity to celebrate their diversity and their strong community. Over the noon hour, colleagues gathered to share some of their favorite food and to discuss plans for upcoming time away from work. Holiday music over a streaming radio station and a YouTube video of a roaring fire were in the background, but what made the hour special was the genuine delight the division’s coworkers took in each other’s company.
