2024 Research Seminar Series Schedule

The Internal Medicine Research Seminar Series continues its eighth year providing a unique forum to showcase the broad array of discovery being conducted within the department. The typical format is composed of two presenters who each describe their individual work for 20 minutes and reserve 10 minutes for audience discussion.

The series will take place on the second Tuesday of even-numbered months in the Bean Conference Room (SE301 GH), and the schedule follows below. Food will be provided.

Regarding this year’s lineup, series director Chad Grueter, PhD, Vice Chair for Research, says:

“In 2024, we are excited about a change to the format for two dates, April 9 and October 8. We will have a data blitz with approximately eight 5-minute presentations. One date will consist of faculty; the other will be trainees with a prize of $500 towards the registration/travel to a conference. Combining the two formats, we can share the strengths of a broad research group while providing attendees the opportunity to learn more about our colleagues’ research interests.”
