I am pleased to announce that Dr. Chris Iverson has been appointed as Clinical Director of Occupational Health, effective immediately. With his extensive expertise in clinical care and a proven track record of leadership, Dr. Iverson will play a key role in continuing the advancement of services offered at the 2 Occupational Health clinical locations.
Dr. Iverson joined our team as Clinical Assistant Professor in August 2020. He brings a wealth of knowledge in occupational medicine and a passion for improving the health outcomes of individuals in the workplace. His collaborative approach, innovative ideas, and dedication to excellence will ensure that we continue to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Iverson received his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and simultaneously earned his Master of Business Administration from the Henry B. Tippie College of Business. After medical school, he completed his residency in Occupational Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. As a part of his Occupational Medicine training, Iverson earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the UI College of Public Health. Iverson is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Occupational Medicine.
