Serhan Karvar, Clinical Associate Professor

Dr. Karvar is always willing to stop and take time to staff patients and simultaneously provide rationale and current guidelines. He is an amazing educator to our staff, fellows, and medical students. He is also an integral part of onboarding new APPs in our department. He is cheerful and works above and beyond for our patients, students, and colleagues.


Steven Polyak, Clinical Associate Professor

Dr. Polyak was recently on inpatient service, and I had a patient who needed a PEG/J. The inpatient service was extremely busy, but Dr. Polyak was not only willing to fit the patient into their schedule, he also coordinated with panc-biliary staff. Dr. Polyak went above and beyond for this patient, and we appreciate his dedication.
