How to obtain MOC credit for Grand Rounds

University of Iowa Continuing Medical Education offers MOC credit for attendance at selected Internal Medicine Grand Rounds. For now, each week featuring an internal presenter, one credit will be available. In addition, two “ABIM updates in Internal Medicine” modules will occur each year for 10 total credits. Tags on flyers announce before each weekly Grand Rounds if and how much MOC credit will be available.

To claim your MOC credits for conference attendance, please go to the CME portal, and follow the steps below (or view this PDF):

Claiming MOC Crredit

Go to uiowa.cloud-cme.com and click Sign In, then click Sign in with your Hawk ID.

Click “Tests” under My CE in the gold header.

Scroll down until you find the session (most recent at the bottom of the list). Click Post Test, answer the questions on each screen, and click Next on the right to advance to the next screen.

Follow the on-screen instructions on the subsequent pages.

Complete the program Evaluation on the next screen, then click Submit.

Earned & Completed.

You have completed the requirements and your MOC data will be submitted to your boards twoard the beginning of every month.
