Endocrinology potluck, 24 Aug 2025

As summer begins to wind down and the shift to fall grows near, the members of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism were invited to share a bit of sunshine together on a Sunday afternoon. Hosted at the home of Amie Ogunsakin, MD, clinical assistant professor in the division, guests were invited to bring their favorite summer cookout dish. Potato and pasta salads, chips, cool drinks, and desserts were all on hand while Leon Jons, MD, clinical associate professor, took on grill-chief duties.

To make it a truly family-friendly event, games and diversions for kids and the kids-at-heart were also on hand. Giant Jenga, an inflatable bounce house, bags, and even a small swimming pool and slide kept everyone occupied. As always, though, guests were mostly focused on each other, chatting and laughing about everything under the sun.
